In addition to their work as an actor, Amy Jo is an accomplished text and dialect coach, working steadily both privately and on production. As a production coach, she has worked on and off Broadway, regionally, and internationally. Privately, she's worked to prepare actors for a rather wide array of projects – everything from auditions, film roles and Broadway shows to improv teams and idiolects. They coach dialects, accent reduction, Shakespeare, audition prep, monologue rep, and acting in song.

Coaching sessions can either take place in person or via FaceTime. Another service offered is a recording of your audition sides along with a listening guide for self-study when scheduling a coaching session isn’t possible.

Amy Jo is the dialect coach on the Tony Award winning Broadway musical KINKY BOOTS, and was the Voice and Text coach on Drama Desk nominees THE MYSTERIES and THESE SEVEN SICKNESSES at The Flea Theater. Other credits of note include: ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (Fox); CLINTON THE MUSICAL (New World Stages); HENRY IV, PART 1 (The Pearl); BILLY ELLIOT (Seacost Rep); VENUS IN FUR (Singapore Rep); WATERFALL (Pasadena Playhouse/5th Avenue); LOOKING AT CHRISTMAS (The Flea).
